What’s Coming to Netflix This Week: May 15th to 21st 2023

Another week means another new series and series coming  to Netflix soon. This week, Netflix is ​​getting two big new movies from Sony Pictures, a couple of Universal movies, a spin-off from Netflix’s popular teen series, and the final season of a great Spanish short story. Here’s everything coming to Netflix from May 15 to May 21, 2023.

The most anticipated new releases coming to Netflix this week 

XO, Kitty (Part 1) 

  • Coming to Netflix: Thursday 

It’s been two years since the third and final To All The Boys movie landed on Netflix, but we’ve finally returned to the character-specific series format across all three. part. 

According to Netflix, here’s what you can expect from the new series: 

Back for another adventure, this time her own, Kitty Song Covey thinks she knows all about love. She’ll soon realize that relationships are much more complicated when left and right. your  heart is at stake.” 

The Son (2023) 

  • Come to Netflix: Saturday 

Debuting in theaters earlier this year,  Son of Sony Pictures Classics comes as a bit of a surprise (SPC movies don’t always come to Netflix) and boasts an impressive cast list. Big names like Hugh Jackman, Laura Dern, Vanessa Kirby, Zen McGrath and Anthony Hopkins all feature in director Florian Zeller’s film.

Missing (2023) 

  • Come to Netflix: Saturday 

Well, we’re getting two Sony movies this weekend, with Missing being the larger of the two new movies coming out. 

With a Certified Fresh rating on RottenTomatoes, the film follows a young girl trying to find her missing mother, who is on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend. By using technology to find her,  not only her location becomes a reality, but also some dark secrets. 

According to the consensus of reviewers on RT: 

Disappearance can strain gullibility in an attempt to keep audiences guessing, but its fast pace and understandable scares keep this twisted techno-thriller from going completely off course.”
