Netflix is back with a brand new season of hit series “Lost in Space”. The second season aired on the 24th of December, 2019 left viewers with numerous unanswered questions.
It is based on the novel of 1965 of the same name. When its initial season hit screens on the 13th of April, 2018, viewers started commenting positively and the series got immense love.

The series is officially renewed for the third season and makers are ready to serve you with interesting episodes. Back on the 9th of March, 2020 the series got officially renewed and Netflix announced that fans will soon get to watch fresh episodes of Lost in Space. Unfortunately, it will be the last and final season of Lost in Space and we have to say goodbye to one of our favourite Netflix series.
How many episodes will Lost in Space Season 3 cover?
According to the recent update regarding the third season of Lost in Space, it is officially confirmed that the upcoming season will have ten fresh episodes. If you are unfamiliar with the previous seasons, they had a total of ten episodes each with a runtime of 40-65 minutes.
What to expect from the third season of Lost in Space?
If you haven’t watched the second season of Lost in Space, make sure you watch before reading this section. As the last season ended up when we saw the separation of Robinson generations (the separation of kids from their parents). Furthermore, we witnessed Jupiter Transport who was carrying the kids that came into contact with the long-lost ship, Fortuna. However, there are rumours regarding the third season that some of the past crew members will make a special appearance on a fresh planet in the forthcoming season. We can hope to see Dr Smith returning in the upcoming episodes. John along with Maureen who appeared in the robot stake are captive to catch the viewer’s eye.
When will Season 3 of Lost in Space hit Netflix?
As of now, there is no official release date available for the third season of Lost in Space nor do we have a trailer. But we can hope to watch the season at the end of 2021. Many cast members have confirmed that they are crafting a great trailer that will reflect some sneak peeks regarding the third season.
