“Clear message to the Kremlin”: England prepared the spread of big forces in Europe
LONDON: The British prepares to offer NATO placement of troops, weapons, warships and the main jets in Europe, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced on Saturday, to respond to the increasing "Russian hostility" against Ukraine.
The offer, which will be made for the NATO military head next week, can see London doubling around 1,150 British soldiers today in Eastern European countries and "defensive weapons" sent to Estonia, the office said.
"This package will send a clear message to the Kremlin - we will not tolerate their destabilized activities, and we will always stand with our NATO allies before Russian hostility," Johnson said in a statement on Saturday night.
