On the verge was one of the unexpected spotlight in 2021 with 12 episodes of comedy drama landing towards the tip of the year but will Netflix get a second episode collection? The answer is not in accordance with the series creator that confirms that Netflix has been canceled.
Released on September 7, the comedy series is a co-production between Netflix and Canal Studio (French production company). This series was made by the French-American actress Julie Delpy. Julie himself starred with Elisabeth Shue, Sarah Jones, Alexia Loundeau, and Mathieu Demy.

Is Netflix updated on the verge for season 2?

Given the show is co-production, it’s not solely on Netflix’s shoulders to update the show. In fact, more balls on the Canal Studio field but should they graduate, Netflix will likely be given the opportunity to take it for yourself.
The reviews are generally positive but the number of reviews is the reason for worry. This series only has several thousand reviews about IMDB (2.7K during the original publication) which can indicate that it does not have a very large audience. Indeed, the show is not performing very well with the available metrics because we will come soon.
The event was canceled according to Julie Delpy responded to the fans on Instagram (H / T Teamshue on Twitter) where Delpy responded to fans who asked about filming season 2 where he replied, “canceled but they forgot to announce it canceled.”
It is not clear whether he means that Netflix or the canal studio forget to announce but anyway, it means there is no season 2.
When asked about the Marc Maron podcast about the second season on October 2021, Julie Delpy said: “Yes, waiting to hear, I will not wait to hear. Because I do not like that position and I am in that position as an actress, I am waiting for Hearing. So, I wrote a new script that must be done in France, a very pleasant film to do with my father, a French film. “
How well on the verge do it on Netflix?
