Massive Russian Troop Build-Up Near Ukraine Border. See Satellite Pics

New Delhi: Russia has moved thousands of troops, armor, and artillery to the Ukrainian border, amid fears that it might be ready for invasion. The military buildup has raised concerns in the West, with the United States placing almost 8,500 troops on warnings ready to be deployed and NATO sending reinforcements and placing standby styles.

Expansion – witnessed in neighboring Crimea and Belarus, close Russian allies – including not only troops but a cache arm, armor, and artillery, many of them were transported by train from a distant base, according to media reports.

Satellite images by Maxar, accessed by NDTV, show Russian troops, tents, and new deployment at the Brestsky Training Ground in Belarus.

This image also shows the spread of the cellular short-range ballistic missile system produced and deployed by the Russian military in the Osipovichi Belarus training area.

Obuz-lesnovsky training area also has tents and troops deployed by Russia.

The President of President Vladimir Putin has mobilized great strength – more than 100,000 strong – in his area near the Ukrainian border and in Crimea, a Russian-annexed Ukrainian region in 2014, reported the AFP news agency. When Russia confiscated Crimea, he supported separatist troops who controlled most East Ukrainians.

In Crimea, new residential areas have come for military forces and military equipment deployed in Novozernoye. Infantry battle vehicles, tents for soldiers and armored vehicles are seen in the satellite photo area.

In West Russia, in the area near its borders with Belarus and Ukraine, satellite images showed battle groups in various reasons of training, artillery which conducted direct fire training, carrier armored personnel, storage facilities and artillery impacts.

The buildup near Ukraine has developed to include blood supply with other medical assistance that allows Russia to treat victims, but another key indicator of Moscow’s military readiness, three US officials told Reuters.

Russian officials have repeatedly denied invasion plans. But Moscow said the taste threatened by Kyiv’s growing bond with the West, Reuters reported.

Washington and his NATO allies have offered Moscow weapons control and trust development steps to relieve the threat of Russian new attacks against Ukraine, according to documents published by El Pais on Wednesday, reported AFP. The Kremlin has demanded that NATO guarantee that Kyiv has never been allowed to join NATO and that the alliance of attracting troops from East member countries which is the Soviet ally or Republican during the Cold War.

Russia and the United States faced on Monday at the UN Security Council at the buildup of Moscow forces at the Ukrainian border, when Western countries intensified their high-handed diplomatic impulse to avoid open conflict in Europe. However, in the face of a buildup of troops, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has called the West to avoid stirring “panic”, according to AFP reports.
