Now, according to the report from Reuters, Jarvo has been arrested for suspicion of attacks to collide with Batsman Jonny Bairstow.
Day 2 The fourth test once again saw a disturbance caused by tone invaders in the oval in London as the man, which was identified as Youtuber Daniel ‘Jarvo’ Jarvis by British media, ran to the stadium. Jarvo, who previously invaded the field twice in the ongoing test series – in Lord’s and Leeds – and was banned from the land of Life Headingley Cricket, continuing the process once again when he rushed to the field in the first round of England.
He ran past the Umesh Yadav bowler and hit Batsman Jonny Bairstow. He then released the ball from his hand when Bairstow himself looked at distrust. The security guard escorted him from the ground.
Now, according to the report from Reuters, the man has been arrested for suspicion of attacks to collide with Batsman Jonny Bairstow.
“A man was arrested for being suspected of being an attack after an incident at Ground Cricket Oval on Friday, September 3. He remained in detention at a South London police station,” Metropolitan police said in a statement to British media.
The ECB says that every pitch invasion is “absolutely unacceptable” in a statement to British media.
“The ECB and our host places do not tolerate such behavior that risk the safety of players, officials and staff,” added the cricket body.
“The ECB works with all our places to share information and improve their security operations.”
Meanwhile, India was completed strongly on day 2, when the opening of Rohit Sharma and Kl Rahul added 43 run to the first goal to play was called for that day. India is now 56 run behind from England and will see the lead on the 4th day of the test.
