Vienna, Austria |: The Austrian court has fined the surgeon to amputate the wrong leg of an elderly patient, a trial spokesperson in the North City of Linz told Wednesday.
While the 43-year-old defendant said his actions were caused by “human error”, the judge found him guilty of negligence and finches 2,700 euros ($ 3,060), with half the suspended amount, the spokesman said.
