Steve Kuclo is an IFBB professional bodybuilder from Texas.

Kuclo has made a name for himself through winning several professional competitions. Kuclo has been on the Mr. Olympia stage 4 times. 

Growing up, he was extremely passionate about fitness and sports. He played ice hockey at a high level, and he spent a lot of time at the gym in the summer months. All of the time in the gym would ultimately spark a bodybuilding passion for Kuclo. 

In 2011, Kuclo won his pro card at the NPC Nationals. Since then, he has won several IFBB competitions, and he has appeared at four Mr. Olympia’s between 2013 and 2017.

Workout Principles

Steve Kuclo’s love for self-improvements sports allowed him to develop an interest in improving his body and becoming as strong as possible. He started to go to the gym to improve his ability on the ice hockey rink. 

Kuclo went on to join the fire and rescue service when he was 21 years old to help people in his local community. He worked long shifts, and he believed that his career and his bodybuilding lifestyle complemented each other.

Steve Kuclo’s Workout Routine 

Steve Kuclo created a workout routine that was based on years of training. His main goal is to create a swell. He must force as much blood into his muscles as possible. He pushes hard in every set until failure. To feed his muscles, he drinks BCAA and glucose while working out. 

Kuclo creates new limits with every set, and he increases the weight lifted in his last set of each exercise by 30%. He says, “taking your body to new limits is not an easy or comfortable process.”

Monday: Shoulders

On Monday, Steve Kuclo performs 5 different exercises with an average of 4 sets and 10 reps.

Steve Kuclo aims to increase his body weight and mass by increasing his caloric intake. Kuclo loves to have seasoning on his food, and he thinks that many people are too scared of salt. He also likes to eat spinach, and he usually eats egg whites on toast.

Steve Kuclo’s fitness journey started from a simple idea: self-improvement. Kuclo was an incredible ice hockey player when he was younger. He started to gain a bigger interest in going to the gym on the summer break from his ice hockey.
