The last adaptation that we saw from Spriggan was the beloved film from 1998. With modern animation techniques, but maintaining extraordinary aesthetics of Spriggan’s manga, we hope that the SPRIGGAN anime series will be one of the best Netflix adaptations to date.
Far in the Mountains of Ararat Turkey, a secret organization known as Arcam has found what is believed to be the ark of Noah. However, the U.S. Machine Corps, a naughty Pentagon organization, wants to take over the ark as a means of global supremacy. Only a special arcam operation known as spriggan prevents them. Spriggan Japan Yu Ominae in collaboration with French Spriggan Jean-Jacques Mondo to fight members of the U.S. Machine Corps. Led by Colonel MacDougall boys who are genetically enhanced with deadly psiononic forces. However, they must act quickly and stop MacDougall before he uses the ark for his own agenda.
