Five: Peruvian President Pedro Castillo waste the prime minister Friday only three days after happening, amid anger over Wahyu he was accused of committing domestic violence in 2016.
“I have decided to reconnect the cabinet,” said the President, which means Prime Minister Hector Valer Pinto came out.
Castillo left announced changes in the short television address where he did not mention Valer Pinto by name.
Opposition and even some cabinet ministers rise on the presence of continued Valer Pinto in the government.
When the President said the new cabinet, it would be the fourth since taking power six months ago.
Valer Pinto, 62, was first under pressure Thursday when the newspaper reported that in 2016 his wife and daughter reported it for domestic violence.
On Friday, before the President pushed it out, the Congress speaker urged the Prime Minister to resign.
Three ministers also challenged him, with Cesar Foreign Minister Landa wrote on Twitter that “public services require free officials from these accusations.”
Valer Pinto responded to the news report by denying him was the “perpetrator” and said he had never been convicted of domestic violence.
He insisted he would remain in his work unless the congress issued a movement of confidence.
