Passengers from countries, are listed as ‘risky’ after the spread of Omicron variants from Coronavirus, arriving at six major airports in India on Monday, must guide RT-PCR tests in a pre-book, according to the instructions issued last week by the Ministry of Interest Civil. According to government notification, the ‘Air Suvidha’ portal will be modified to accommodate passengers, who come from ‘At Risk’ countries or have visited them in the last 14 days.
Airports are also located in six main metro cities in the country – Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The ministry clarifies that this is just the first stage of the protocol implementation, and after stabilizing the system and ensuring that passengers do not face the main hassle in pre-ordering, the rules will also be extended to other airports.

4. Fill in all personal details such as name, e-mail ID, cellphone number, aadhaar card / passport number, address, date appointment date, time slot, etc.
5. After entering all details, select the type of test (in this case, RT-PCR, although fast PCR testing is also available)
6. Follow the instructions displayed on the screen, and message slots for your RT-PCR test on arrival at the airport.
How much does your RT-PCR test cost?
For ordinary RT-PCR tests, a traveler must pay ₹ 500, while the cost of fast PCR tests, on the other hand, is ₹ 3,500. In the first case, the test results will be available within six-eight hours, while the appropriate duration for the last is only 30 minutes to one and a half hours. Testing facilities are available for everyone traveling to or through IGI airport.
In addition, passengers have the option to reschedule their appointments or cancel orders at all.
